Lior Vagima, born in Israel in 1976, discovered the world of glass through a flame working course he took at Alex Arbell's studio in Ein Hod. This discovery led him in 2005 to Venice, to the studio of the grand master of glasswork, Lucio Bubbaco who has been his mentor ever since.

Lior creates small scale sculptures and, like Bubacco, he uses the flame working technique which he combines with cast glass. Lior is currently a staff member and also teaches glass working at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. He works have been exhibited in the Eretz Israel Museum along with various galleries.
